OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Daily Beast, a Web site that reports on everything from fashion to high finance, ranked Oklahoma the tenth most corrupt state in the U.S.
The Web site looked at cases of Public Corruption, Racketeering and Extortion, Fraud, Forgery and Counterfeiting, and Embezzlement to come up with the rankings.
TheDailyBeast.com cited the corruption of former Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher, who pleaded no contest to operating an illegal charity and misusing early education funds.
