OKLAHOMA CITY -- A tornado watch has been issued for southwestern Oklahoma.
The tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. for Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Cotton, Custer, Dewey, Grady, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa, Roger Mills, Tillman, and Washita counties.
This evening there is a chance for storms across Oklahoma. If storms get started, there is a risk they will become severe. Risks with these storms include winds, hail and a few tornadoes.
Heading into Wednesday, the risk of storms goes up later in the afternoon and through the evening. There is a continued chance for severe weather with these storms as well.
The chance for rain continues through Thursday. Heavy rain is possible, however severe weather is not anticipated at this time for Thursday. Stay with NEWS 9 and News9.com, we'll keep you advised.
