Creek County Sheriff's Deputies Search For Rape Suspect

The Creek County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man possibly involved in an assault and rape early Saturday morning.

SAPULPA, Oklahoma -- The Creek County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man possibly involved in an assault and rape early Saturday morning.

Sheriff's deputies are looking for 26-year-old Kevin Matthew Ridenour of Sapulpa. He is described as 5'6", 178 pounds, with green eyes with blonde hair.

Deputies say the victim told them that Ridenour got drunk and beat her up, raped her and then attempted to strangle her at a home just outside of Sapulpa.

Ridenour reportedly fled in a stolen vehicle, a sky blue 1997 Chevy Blazer with Oklahoma tag of 764-AJC.

He is believed to be in the Moore and Oklahoma City area.

Anyone with information about Ridenour or has spotted the SUV is asked to call the Creek County Sheriff's Office at 918-224-4964.
