OKLAHOMA CITY – A small crane has fallen downtown at the construction site of the new Devon high rise.
The small crane tipped over, leaving the wheels hanging up in the air.
Holder-Flintco senior project manager Pete Pemantell said the 90-ton crane was hoisting some frame work when it tipped forward. The operator was quickly taken out of the crane.
No one was hurt.
Officials are investigating what caused the crane to tip.
The Devon Tower is expected to be completed in December 2012 and will be the tallest building in Oklahoma.
