Man Assaults Victim with Tire Iron

Police are looking for a man who attacked a victim with a tire iron at the State Department of Health.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police are looking for a man who attacked a victim with a tire iron at the State Department of Health.

According to a news release from Catherine Bishop, Vice President of Public Affairs for the University of Oklahoma, the attack happened at 10:40 a.m. Friday inside the State Department of Health building located at 1000 NE 10th Street in Oklahoma City.

The University of Oklahoma Police Department has responsibility of providing security for the State Department of Health building, according to Bishop.

The suspect is described as a tall, dark-skinned male with long black dreadlocks and a slender build and wearing a two-toned white-over-black hoodie. He was last seen running north and west from the scene, according to Bishop.

The condition and identity of the victim is not known.
