Woman Dies in Early Morning Car Crash

OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman has died as a result of a car crash early this morning.

Police were called to the single-car crash in the 11800 block of N. MacArthur Boulevard at about 12:40 and found 54-year-old Deborah Dawson alone inside the vehicle. She was transported to OU Medical Center where she later died.

According to police, Dawson was traveling south on MacArthur when, for reasons unknown, her car left the roadway and crashed head-on into a tree.

Police say Dawson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
