NORMAN, Oklahoma -- For the first time since injuring his shoulder in the University of Oklahoma's opener against Brigham Young University, Sam Bradford threw a football with his teammates.
According to wide receiver Ryan Broyles, Bradford was throwing short passes.
"He was throwing five to 10-yard passes, nothing deep," he said. "It was encouraging to see him out there."
Offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson indicated it was a step forward, but cautioned against getting too excited.
"He was doing more today than he's done. He was doing a bunch today," he said. "Don't read too much into it."
