LOS ANGELES - Former Sooner basketball player Ashley Paris has been dropped by the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.
The Sparks drafted Paris as the 22nd overall pick in the 2009 draft.
The team announced on its web site Friday that it dropped Paris and guard Marta Fernandez to bring its roster to 12 before starting the season on Saturday.
