Widely scattered rain and wet snow showers continue to fall through the northern sections of the northeastern U.S. today. High pressure is keeping the weather dry along the mid- and southern Atlantic Coast. Isolated showers are falling through the western Great Lakes as well as through the Tennessee Valley as a frontal boundary extends through the region. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are developing through western sections of Texas as well as through the central Rockies. While snow is falling through the northern Rockies, scattered rain showers are falling from Idaho east and north into the northern Plains. Isolated rain showers are falling in the Puget Sound region while the Southwest is seeing sunny to partly cloudy skies.
