NORMAN, Oklahoma -- A suspect is in custody this morning in Norman after a crime spree that began late last night.
James Quick was arrested and booked into the Cleveland County jail Monday night.
Police said the first incident was the armed robbery of a Shell Station on West Robinson. Then, there was another armed robbery at a Shell station near Berry and Lindsey. When police spotted the getaway vehicle, the suspect crashed the car, and fled on foot.
Police said Quick then forced his way into a home, and then car-jacked another vehicle. After abandoning that vehicle, police and K-9 units were finally able to track him down and take him into custody.
Quick also is a suspect in similar crimes in Oklahoma City and Moore.
