OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma State Mens' Basketball Head Coach Travis Ford has once again been in the spotlight not for his team's performance, but his vulgar mouth.
It was less than a week ago that the Oklahoman ran a story about Ford being reprimanded by both his wife and OSU's Athletic Director, Mike Holder, about his language from the sidelines.
As the Cowboys played the Kansas Jayhawks this weekend, Ford was heard on the ABC broadcast, admonishing Obi Muonelo in a vulgar manner.
Ford later apologized today on a local radio station.
"In the heat of the moment, I made a mistake and regret doing it," Ford said. "I feel bad for my family, the fans and my team...I apologize to them all. The competitiveness got the best of me and it won't happen again."
