TULSA, OK -- A 20-year old Army National Guard soldier is in the hospital after police say two 16-year-olds robbed and stabbed him late Wednesday night.
Tulsa Police say the incident occurred at the Sand Dollar Apartments at 61st and Riverside.
Police arrested the two teens. They identified them as Ismael Williams and Patrick Johnson. Both were booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Police officers say Kyle Stange was at the complex trying to get out of his car, when one of the teens attacked him from behind. The other teen stabbed Stange in the right leg. The suspects stole the victim's wallet and cell phone.
Tulsa Police say the teens fled to a nearby apartment complex where they were apprehended.
"Security saw the two suspects walk through the gate, two people who came within minutes of the actual robbery," Tulsa Police Sgt. Michael Brown said.
After being questioned, police say the pair confessed to at least three other similar robberies since December 3 in the Sand Dollar Apartment complex.
Tulsa Police say they suspect Williams and Johnson may be connected to a fourth robbery in the complex on December 9.
Stange was taken to a Tulsa hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
