Obama's Weekly Address Hits the Blogsphere

WASHINGTON D.C. -- President-elect Barack Obama has begun posting his weekly addresses on YouTube and his blog on his office's Web site.

This week, the President-elect made a huge economic announcement.

"I have already directed my economic team to come up with an economic recovery plan, that will mean 2.5 million more jobs by January of 2011," Obama said.

He is also expected to make an announcement about his economic team Monday.

The head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is topping the list for Treasury Secretary of the new administration. Tim Geithner already has 15 years of experience working in that role under three administrations.
