PONCA CITY, Okla. - The one room Bressie School House south of Ponca City burned down Friday morning.
Marland Volunteer Firefighters responded to a fire at around 2:15 a.m. at the future home of the Bressie Community Center.
The former school house has been around since the early 1900s.
Investigators believe the fire was intentional because the electricity and propane tank were shut off.
The blaze was so large and intense that firefighters had to wait for the fire to burn through the roof and for the building to collapse officials said.
The fire lasted for three hours. There are no suspects at this time.
