STILLWATER, Okla. -- OSU announced a $57.2 million gift Thursday to establish a department of entrepreneurship in the Spears School of Business.

Malone and Amy Mitchell gave the gift to benefit the university's academics and athletics and will be split evenly between the Spears School of Business and the OSU Athletic Department.

President Burns Hargis and OSU benefactor T. Boone Pickens were on hand for the formal announcement.
