Thumb and Thumber

What a rotten month this has been for West Virginia. The Pitt loss. The loss of their Head Coach. A nasty lawsuit. And now, facing an OU team that has no chance of overlooking them after what happened a year ago in the desert.

It all could've been so different if not for one thumb. If Mountaineer QB Pat White hadn't dislocated his opposable digit with Dave Wannstedt looking on...West Virginia beats Pitt...WVU is in the BCS Title Game against Ohio State (a team less talented than Oklahoma)...Les Miles is the new Head Coach at Michigan...and "Rich Rod" never get a call from the Maize and Blue.

The Mountaineers came to the late season fork in the road and thumbed a ride the wrong way.
