The community of Jones keeps a positive attitude after a fire destroyed the local high school. The school held a pep rally to both keep spirits high and inform students of any updates concerning the school's future.
School officials are expecting to resume classes next week, but anticipate students meeting in local churches and portable buildings until then.
"I said on day one, from day one, I'm not worried about finding space. The community is going to take care of us. The thing I was worried about was textbooks," Jones High School principal, Carl Johnson said.
Textbooks were donated from other districts for the school's use.
