Crews Respond to Multi-Vehicle Crash On NB I-35 Near Wilshire

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a reported injury crash on the northbound side of Interstate 35 in northeast Oklahoma City, Wednesday evening.

Authorities say several vehicles were involved and some lanes of the interstate are blocked due to the crash on NB I-35 near NE Wilshire Blvd. The wreck caused traffic on that side of the interstate to become severely congested; limited to one lane while crews worked the scene. The highway has since been fully re-opened.

As many as seven vehicles may have been involved in this crash. No word yet on the number of injuries at this time.

A pair of vehicles on the southbound side of I-35 in the area also got into a crash, likely caused by rubbernecking the first crash. No injuries were reported in that crash.
