Oklahoma State football released pics of its newest Nike uniforms on Wednesday. Former Cowboys Dez Bryant, Brandon Weeden and Dan Bailey were on hand for the release, donning the unis for the team in the large media room at Boone Pickens Stadium.
The uniforms are “highly customized and truly unique to Oklahoma State” according to the team’s site. Included on the trim are tributes to Frank Eaton – the original “Pistol Pete” – as well as the Paddle People and OSU’s retired numbers (21-Barry Sanders, 34-Thurman Thomas, 43-Terry Miller and 55-Bob Fenimore). The trim around the neck is inspired by a cowboy’s bandana.

While there isn’t any deviation from the orange, black, white and grey color scheme, Nike designers have added new barbed wire font and reflective surfaces for an ultra-modern look.
The uniforms are built using Nike Mach Speed technology which makes them 25 percent lighter than OSU’s 2011-15 uniforms.
