Police: One Killed, One Injured In NE OKC Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of one person and injured another one in northeast Oklahoma City, Monday night. 

It happened around 10 p.m. on the 1200 block of N.E. 44th Street near Everest. Police rushed to the scene after several people called 911 saying they heard gunshots.

When officers arrived, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a local hospital. 

One victim, later identified as 28-year-old Christopher Hamilton, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other victim was identified as 23-year-old Delvin Robinson. He remains in critical condition Tuesday morning. 

No arrests have been made, and police have not released any suspect information at this time. 

We also learned at least one of the victims had a gun. Homicide investigators are on the scene. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
