Alumni have salvaged the old rusted flagpole from the original school.

“What we heard is that is was put in by the class of Britton High in 1931 and 32,” said alumni Terry Harris.

Before being moved to the original John Marshall High, the flagpole and was first hoisted at Britton High School.

“We are going to get it re-fix and repair it. We are able to keep the whole thing,” added Harris.
