An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who is accused of stabbing a dog in the face back in August, 2013 in Oklahoma City.
On Wednesday, police identified the suspect as 45-year-old Paul Edward Factor, who is now wanted on animal cruelty charges.
According to police, at about 8 a.m. on August 2, officers responded an animal cruelty report at Becks Garage, located at 4217 N. Western. The owner told police that his dog Lucy was stabbed in the face with a large pocket knife when she was apparently trying to protect the property.

Lucy was taken to the vet. The knife barely missed her eye and her brain, and she is going to be fine.
During the investigation, a neighbor who lives behind Becks Garage told police that someone kicked in their door at about 2 a.m. that day. She said she heard the suspect jump the west fence into Becks Garage.
Police were able to gather blood samples from the fence. A blood trail led across the street to Sipango. Workers there say the suspect who was bleeding approached them and tried to attack them with another knife.
According to police, Factor was originally arrested that night. But he was taken to detox and was released.
An arrest warrant was issued for Factor on Wednesday. If you have any information, call Oklahoma City police.
