As storms race across Oklahoma Tuesday morning, the News 9 Weather Team is closely monitoring the system.
The National Weather Service says a tornado watch is in effect until noon; that includes the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The storms swept across the western part of the state and into central Oklahoma Tuesday morning, bringing strong wind gusts, rain, and large hail.
The weather service says the greatest risk of severe storms will be near a line extending from Seymour, Texas, into Oklahoma to Hobart, Clinton and north to Medford.
