A Mustang woman is stabbed to death at her home near London. Police reportedly tried to revive the mother of two before arresting her husband for murder.
When word of this tragedy made its way to Janee Parsons hometown on Saturday over the weekend, many were not only shocked but heartbroken to find out about a life cut short. Photographs captured by journalists in the UK show only the crime scene of Parsons' tragic death. Her hometown wants to focus on the memories of her life.
"Just very bright, outgoing, a friend very open hearted kind individual," Mary Lever with Mustang High School explained. Former teachers were brought to tears remembering the graduate who everyone expected to have much success in her future.
A community, friends and family are now struggling to understand why this mother of two young boys died in her home near Oxford. Reports show police are investigating Janee's husband, Andrew Parsons who is suspected of killing his wife. Neighbors reportedly heard the couple arguing and called for help but when officers arrived they found Janee suffering from multiple stab wounds. Now family and friends are grieving the woman they say was known for her "tenacity," "kindness" and "loving spirit."
A community distraught over a murder half a world away.
"No matter how long they have been away from this community people still remember them and we want to pass on our condolences to her friends and family," Lever said.
"Words can't possibly do justice to describe Janee," said Parsons' friend, Chelsea Abney. "She was by far the bravest, funniest, most inspiring person I've ever meet. She was an over achiever in every aspect of her life; motherhood, career, charity. She was my very best friend. I will love her forever and always."
Janee's family and closest friends flew immediately to London and are caring for her two boys, ages 5 and 8.
