Media Day at the NBA Finals is traditionally jam-packed with reporters, cameras and questions—but this year, it also featured some chuckles from a smaller statured member of the media crowd.
Guillermo, most famous for being Jimmy Kimmel's security guard, kept the masses laughing as he joked with Thunder and Heat players during the media free-for-all before game one of the finals.
"Are you going to grow a mustache? Who's your favorite Kardashian? Did you see ‘What to Expect When You're Expecting'? Can I give you a hug for good luck? What did you have for breakfast? You're 65 years old—you're not sick of being in the NBA Finals every year? How many rings do you need? --those are only a few of the off-the-wall questions from the pint-sized comedian.
Oklahoma City's James Harden, Derek Fisher and Kendrick Perkins along with the Heat's Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier all fought back laughs as they fielded questions from Guillermo, who is suspected to barely top five-foot-three-inches in height.
Even though Guillermo came inches, and in some case feet shorter than his interview subjects, it didn't stop him from stepping up to the media crowds.
According to the Jimmy Kimmel Live web site, Guillermo has worked there since the show launched in 2003. He has been a show correspondent since then, tickling the viewers with his thick accent and to the point questions.
Game two of the series will tip off at 8 p.m. Thursday in Oklahoma City.
