Police arrested two men late Wednesday night following an hour-long police chase that began in Oklahoma City and ended near Calumet.
Just after 11 p.m., Oklahoma City Police received a call about a suspicious pickup truck. When they located the vehicle near Interstate 44 and S.W. 29th Street, the driver sped off.
Police said the driver and a passenger began throwing items from the truck, and within a few minutes the passenger jumped out of the moving vehicle. Police believe the items they threw from the car were stolen.
The chase finally ended near Interstate 40 and Red Rock Road in Canadian County. The driver reportedly tried to back over a deputy, but the deputie shot out the tires on the truck.
No one was hurt.
Deputies arrested Chadwell Marshall and Kenneth Wheeler.
