OKLAHOMA CITY -- Doctors at OU Medical Center have upgraded the condition of one of two men shot late Thursday night in northeast Oklahoma City.
Police say Henry Battles, Jr. and Larry Richardson were arguing outside a home around 11:45 p.m. near N.E. 14th Street and Washington. Investigators say 17-year-old Jimmy Owen pulled out a gun and shot the two men who'd been arguing.
Each victim was hit multiple times. The two men were rushed to the hospital. Battles remains in critical condition while Richardson has been upgraded to fair.
A few hours later, someone spotted Owen walking down a street and thought he looked suspicious. That person called police.
Investigators questioned Owen then took him into custody. Police believe he is the shooter.
