2nd Arrest Made In September OKC Fatal Shooting

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police have arrested a second person in connection to a fatal shooting that took place in September.

According to police, 29-year-old Brandon Cory Jones was arrested in the shooting death of 40-year-old Jose Cruz on September 23.

Police arrested 28-year-old Michael Jimenez earlier this month in connection to the shooting death.

Police said the two men are suspected of forcing their way into Cruz's home and shooting him for an unknown reason. Investigators the shooting may have been about a dispute over money.

Investigators do not believe anyone else was directly involved in the incident.

Both Jones and Jimenez face a count of first-degree murder and one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
