SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -- Pottawatomie County authorities have interviewed a third person of interest in the murder of two people found dead in the back of a pick-up truck Saturday.
Deputies arrested Jason Jackson, 28, and Amanda Creekmore, 28, on first-degree murder charges Saturday afternoon. Jackson was taken to the hospital after being arrested.
The two were arrested in the yard of Jackson's mother's home, ending an hours long manhunt.
A resident said they saw Jackson walking away from the pick-up where authorities found the bodies of a man and a woman.
Investigators interviewed a third person of interest, but did not make an arrest.
Authorities say decomposition shows the two victims had been dead for more than a day. Their identities have not been released.
