We're getting more information about the opening of Riverside Drive on Monday. The city says Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe will be in Tulsa for a news conference hosted by Mayor G.T. Bynum.
There will also be representatives from the Federal Highway Administration and Gathering Place.
It starts at 8 a.m. Monday, September 10 on the Midland Valley Trail Pedestrian Bridge. Riverside has been closed from 41st Street to just south of 21st Street while Gathering Place was built.
The Riverside Drive project received a $10 million grant from the Federal Highway Administration secured through the efforts of INCOG, a news release states.
The roadway will be open for traffic at 6 a.m., the City of Tulsa confirms.
