A new contemporary artist is being featured Friday night in Tulsa's First Friday Art Crawl. Beth Lipman is from Wisconsin and is best known for her glass work.
She has a new exhibit on display at 108 Contemporary, a non-profit organization that supports the arts. Her exhibit focuses on everyday waste.
Beth Lipman/Artist "I've been studying climate change for probably the last decade, and I also have been making sculpture and photography for the last 25 years," said artist Beth Lipman.
The first Friday Art Crawl is from 6 to 9 p.m. Entry is free to many of the museums and art galleries in the Tulsa Arts District.
108 Contemporary is hosting a free "Artist Talk" with Lipman from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6.
