Tulsa Bishop Edward J. Slattery Dies At 84

Bishop Emeritus Edward J. Slattery died after a series of strokes at 84 years old Friday night, according to the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma.

Bishop Slattery was ordained a priest in 1966 and was ordained as the bishop of the Diocese of Tulsa by the Pope in 1994.

His funeral arrangements are scheduled for Sept. 26 at the Holy Family Cathedral.
