Escaped Missouri Inmate Steals Police Car In Le Flore County

Law enforcement officers in Le Flore County are searching for an escaped inmate from Missouri.

They say Travis Davis escaped the Pettis County jail on Sunday after he was accused of holding a woman and toddler hostage. Deputies arrested Davis on Wednesday while he was on the run in Heavener but he managed to steal a police car.

Deputies found the car wrecked in the woods, and Davis was gone.
