Broken Arrow Educator Honored As 'Impactful Teacher'

News On 6 recognizes an "Impactful Teacher" at Broken Arrow High School.

Alan Crone and LeAnne Taylor surprised Jill Taylor, who is a teacher at BA High School on Thursday.

She's been teaching since 1989 and has been an educator in several states. She has even worked in Uganda.

Taylor was nominated by a fellow teacher, who says Taylor always goes above and beyond for her students.

"I do what I do, not for the recognition, but it's also nice to be honored and recognized for the hard work that I put in and my fellow teachers put in," said Jill Taylor.

Jill Taylor received $500 from News On 6 and Wortman Central Air Conditioning to use however she'd like. Wortman Central Air Conditioning is also giving Jill and her fellow teachers a nice lunch together.
