Train Hits Pickup Truck Stuck On Tracks Near Foyil

A man is lucky to be alive after troopers say his truck was hit by a train near Foyil.

Authorities arrived at the scene near Highway 66 and Highway 28-A overnight. OHP said the driver made it out of the accident with minor injuries.

OHP said the driver was westbound on Highway 28 near the intersection with Highway 66. They say the man drove off the road and ended up high-centered on the railroad tracks.

Troopers say a train traveling northbound hit the bed of the truck.

Troopers said the driver was taken away in handcuffs. They have not released his name yet.
