A new look is coming to EMSA's ambulances in Tulsa.
EMSA is changing the design from red, white and blue to navy blue and yellow.
They say the new design saves EMSA approximately $2,000 compared to the style of the current ambulances. In addition, EMSA has added safety features including a chevron design on the back of the ambulance cab as well as more efficient lights.
They say they've also updated the EMSA logo to feature a more realistic cardiac rhythm.
Eventually all of EMSA's ambulance fleet in both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City will have the updated livery.
EMSA expects the changes will take several years as EMSA replaces older units.
