A South Carolina football star made his decision about where he’ll play football in college and had a unique way to announce it.
Cooper Dawson, a defensive end at Hanahan, spent the season recovering from a torn ACL. During his recovery, he struck up a friendship with Kinglsey Feinman, who has cerebral palsy.
Dawson credited Feinman for being a great example of perseverance - as well as a good friend.
"I told Kingsley I'd announce it to him before I told anyone else," Dawson said. "So I'm going to tell him and I'll let him announce it to y'all."
Dawson then leaned toward his friend and whispered the name of the school.
"He's going to Syracuse!" Feinman shouted to applause.
Dawson then placed a Syracuse hat on his friend’s head and then put on one himself.
