Hulbert's 'Angel Tree Project' Called An Epic Success

The town of Hulbert has come together to make Christmas special for every family in the community.

The group 'Reaching Our Hulbert Community' put together an Angel Tree Project for the town and organizers called it an "epic success."

Organizers say 80 angels signed up. Folks in Hulbert adopted every angel and met every need and gift wish.

31 families were also given hot meals and Christmas turkeys.

Reaching Our Hulbert Community is a youth outreach program in Cherokee County. Organizers say churches, businesses, organizations, sponsors and more than 50 volunteers made the Angel Tree project possible.

They say they are overwhelmed by the support of the Hulbert community and grateful for the generosity that has made a difference in the lives of so many in the town.
