The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office has identified the person found dead after an apartment fire earlier this week.

Victim Identified In Fatal Tulsa Apartment Fire

The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office has identified the person found dead after an apartment fire earlier this week.

The ME says the victim was 67-year-old Jerry Hou.

The fire happened early on the morning of December 10, 2018 at the Park at Forest Oaks apartments near 71st and Lewis.

The ME's office says it hasn't determined the cause of death yet.

The fire destroyed six apartments and left extensive smoke and water damage in several others.

The people living in every one of the units had to be moved. The manager says some of the families moved to a nearby sister property, others are staying in empty apartments on the property and the rest are staying with family or friends.
