Pearl District Mural To Be Unveiled Wednesday

A new mural will soon be on display in Tulsa's Pearl District.

What makes this mural so different is that the artist painted it digitally. Josh Butts used a special pen that connects to his computer.

The mural near 6th and Peoria is called "Welcome to the Heart of the Pearl."

"Finding that pearl finding that jewel finding that thing that has been ground down from grit to something valuable and in a lot of ways that's the story of the Pearl District," said Josh Butts.

It took several months to create the mural, which is being unveiled Wednesday.

Butts says it may give you a 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' vibe.
