Passenger Dies After Weekend Collision Near Sapulpa

A passenger has died days following a collision near Sapulpa.

Authorities said the victim, identified as Benjamin Worley, 57 of Sand Springs died from injuries late Monday morning.

According to the report, the victim was transported to St. Francis hospital in Tulsa after the accident Saturday. The driver of the vehicle was traveling southbound on 145th West Avenue and departed the roadway to the right, striking a tree.

Worley was transported to St. Francis in critical condition with head, trunk external, trunk internal, arm and leg injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to St. Francis in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
