Corroded Tulsa Pedestrian Bridge To Be Demolished

The City of Tulsa says they will demolish the pedestrian bridge at 56th and Harvard starting Saturday.<br/><br/>

The City of Tulsa says they will demolish the pedestrian bridge at 56th and Harvard starting Saturday.

Harvard Avenue will be closed there to traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and possibly Sunday.

The bridge was closed in July after because of corrosion and outdated ramps.

Instead of replacing it, the city will now put in a signaled crosswalk that they anticipate will be open in time for next school year.
