Cameron McGriff had 11 points and 12 rebounds for his second career double-double as Oklahoma State beat Memphis 84-64 on Thursday to reach the AdvoCare Invitational semifinals.
Yor Anei had a standout game, scoring 12 points, collecting four rebounds and, most importantly, blocking six shots. Anei's volleyball-esque effort tied the OSU record for most blocks in a game by a freshman.
The Cowboys (3-1) totaled 10 blocks, which set the record for most blocks by a team in the AdvoCare Invitational, and are the most by the Cowboys since 2015.
OSU had six players score in double figures. It was the first time they accomplished that feat since Nov. 16, 2016.
Thomas Dziagwa had 14 points, and Michael Weathers added 13 for the Cowboys. Isaac Likekele and Lindy Waters III also put up double-figure performances.
The Cowboys outscored Memphis (2-2) in bench points 38-22 and outrebounded the Tigers 40-30.
OSU will face defending national champion Villanova at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
