The lawyer for Joshua Harvey’s parents says they want answers about their son’s death.
Harvey died three days after being tased by Tulsa police in August. His parents talked with reporters on Monday evening during a news conference.
A vigil was held for Harvey following that news conference.
Friends, family, and members of the community lit candles and walked to the Arvest Bank where the incident took place.
The events inside Arvest Bank came just minutes after police say they tried to restrain Harvey down the street. They say before Harvey broke a glass door leading into the bank, officers attempted to calm him down.
The lawyer for Harvey’s parents says they requested police reports concerning the arrest and tasing of Harvey. He also says they have received very little information and are calling for transparency.
The Tulsa Police Department has released body cam video of the encounter.

The Harveys also accuse Tulsa Police of violating their own protocol and excessively tasing Harvey.
The Medical Examiner will determine Harvey’s cause of death, but the report has not come out yet.
Harvey’s parents say they are considering filing an open records lawsuit.
“Why they won’t cooperate and let us know what happened to him?” asked Harvey’s mother, Roma Snowball-Presley.
"We made it to the hospital to see my son, his last eight hours," said Harvey's father, Tony Presley. "We want to know what happened."
