New Leader Named For Tulsa Downtown Coordinating Council

The Tulsa Downtown Coordinating Council has a new leader.

Brian Kurtz will lead the DCC as its Executive Director under Mayor G.T. Bynum. The Coordinating Council is a board made up of downtown property owners and government leaders, who plan, manage and market downtown Tulsa.

"We want to take a very broad look at the things we've been doing at the DCC over the last few years and see what kind of mechanisms we can put in place to create positive change for the entire community," said Kurtz.

Kurtz is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he worked for the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership.
