Tulsa Motel Guest Robbed, Car Stolen Early Thursday

Police investigate a robbery and theft of a car from a guest of a Tulsa motel early Thursday.

Officers were called to the Garnett Inn near 11th and Garnett before 8 a.m. after a motel guest said sometime early Thursday, a man and two women knocked on his door. When the victim opened the door, he told police, the trio showed a gun, taking the victim's iPad, cell phone, before driving off in victim's 2017 Chevy Spark.

Someone reported an overnight armed robbery at 11th and Garnett. We spoke with the victim before police arrived and he teared up when he told me he thought he was going to die tonight. He says they took his phone, iPad, car and other items. TPD is investigating. @NewsOn6 pic.twitter.com/u5jMPS4r4P

Police say they talked with clerks at the QuikTrip store next door who say they saw the three suspects.

Officers say the victim was not injured.

A relative of the victim called News On 6 Friday and said the vehicle was found and the victim has it back.
