One Dead, One In Custody At Tulsa County Shooting

One person is dead and another is in custody after a shooting in Tulsa County.

Tulsa County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting at a house near Coyote Trail and 225th west avenue.

According to deputies, it began with an argument between a man and his girlfriend. When the suspect claims he shot his girlfriend in the face killing her. Now deputies are trying to figure out whether or not it was an accident.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says the male who lives in the home with the female victim called 911.

"Preliminary investigation goes to show that there was some sort of a verbal altercation. The folks in the house didn't want to hear it so they'd stepped on to the back porch and then he comes back into the house to say that she's been shot," said Casey Roebuck TCSO Director of Public Information

The Sheriff’s Office is conducting interviews with the suspect but has not made an official arrest.
