Monday's school teacher walkout over education funding is still on for many school districts.  The Oklahoma Senate is now looking over the bill that would give raises to teachers.

But even if they approve the funding bill, it may not be enough.

Already, Bartlesville Public Schools is saying there won't be a walkout in their district Monday, if the Senate passes the House's $447-million tax package.

The superintendent says the bill addresses a meaningful teacher raise, more funding for schools and fills a state budget hole.

The Oklahoma Education Association is still calling for a walkout, asking for funding for "years two and three."

News On 6's capitol reporter Aaron Brilbeck, reports it's far from a guarantee that it will even pass the Senate, because of the hike on gross production tax and the new hotel tax.
