Monument To Robert E. Lee Removed From Tulsa School

A monument to Robert E. Lee was removed from a Tulsa school.

Board members decided to rescind Robert E. Lee as the school's name effective July 1, 2018.

Tuesday, a monument to Lee was removed and given to the Tulsa Historical Society for preservation.

Tulsa Public Schools said someone in the community paid for the removal.
