Senator Lankford Visits Tulsa For Big 10 Ballroom Celebration

Oklahoma Senator James Lankford was in Tulsa Thursday night for a town-hall-style community conversation.

Lankford was joined by Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum, State Senator Kevin Matthews and Represenative Regina Goodwin at the Big 10 ballroom to celebrate a renovation that's almost finished.

The venue was a stop on what's known as the "Chitilin Circuit" that provided safe palces for black singers and musicians to perform as they toured across the United States.
